Linked Business Concepts has been sucessful in obtaining the classification of an Australian Government Endorsed Supplier. The Endorsed Supplier Agreement ESA is a pre-qualification scheme administered by the Department of Finance and Administration on behalf of the Australian Government.  The ESA endorses suppliers that wish to sell to the Australian Government in certain business sectors including Information Technology (IT).

The ESA is part of the Australian Government's commitment to:

  • cutting the cost of doing business with government; and
  • assisting FMA Act Agencies with their risk management when procuring products and services from suppliers in these industries, by assessing the suppliers' financial viability, business reputation, and compliance with certain government policies and standards.

Suppliers that satisfy the endorsement rules and conditions for participation are granted endorsement under the ESA.  They are then referred to as Endorsed Suppliers.

For suppliers, endorsement means that you are included on the ESA MUL.  This list provides formal recognition that your business complies with the requirements of the ESA, at the time of endorsement, including that it is financially viable and has a good service reputation.  The list also assists in promoting your business to Government agencies.

For buyers, the ESA MUL serves to identify suppliers that comply with the ESA requirements, which may be a subset of your own purchasing requirements and provides a list from which you can select tender.
